Philadelphia

Army’s first trip was with Julie Jacobsen to Philadelphia. There was a bit of a hardship in getting to Philly, but in the end Army and Julie got there. The first place that Army visited was Independence Hall in Philadelphia. Independence Hall is a U.S. National Landmark. This is the location where the Declaration of Independence is stored. The building was started in 1732 and completed in 1753. Independence Hall was the original home of the “Liberty Bell”, and now holds the “Centennial Bell”. The Liberty Bell Center is now the home of the Liberty Bell.
The Liberty Bell is one of the most prominent symbols of the American Revolutionary War. It is recently described as the icon of liberty and justice. It was known as the “Independence Bell” and “Old Yankee’s Bell” until 1837, when it was adopted by the American Anti-Slavery Society as a symbol of the abolitionist movement.
The Liberty Bell made by Whitechapel Bell Foundry in London, and originally cost 100 British pounds and weighs 2080 lbs. Pass and Stow recast the bell, and included their names in the bells composition.
